As a matter of fact, there is an international document (that sets human rights for every one worldwide) that was agreed to by the United States and other members of the United Nations in 1948. It is called the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Before I just mentioned it, have you ever heard of the document?

[4] (I'm going to read you some arguments for why we should do more here in the US (United States) to uphold human rights for all members of our
society.) For example, some people say we should do more to work on human rights because... the US agreed to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights
fifty years ago, and we should be living up to that agreement. Do you personally feel that this is a very strong reason, a fairly strong reason, a fairly weak reason, or a very weak reason for doing more to protect human rights in the US?

  Very strong reason 53%

You can use any number from zero to one hundred, the higher the number the more favorable your feelings are toward those people or that organization. If you have no opinion or have never heard of those people or that organization, please say so…International Human Rights Groups

[7] (There are many people who often speak out on using military force in foreign policy. I am going to read you some of these types of people and for each one, please tell me how credible, that is, how believable or unbelievable, you think they are in providing truthful information and honest opinions when they speak out on sending United States forces to fight abroad: very credible, somewhat credible, not so credible, or not at all credible. If you have never heard of this type of person or don't know, just say so.)...
