Made a batch with chopped up strawberries, my family likes both varieties! They sell it online. @allclad is making all of our, 2 tbsp canola oil (I used the almond oil I had on hand). They are not as sweet and heavy feeling as other muffins but if your trying to cut calories and fat they are great. I make these almost every week. Great recipe!!!

I noticed that other blueberry muffin recipes ask you to toss the blueberries in flour before folding in…maybe I will try doing that next time. I tried steel cut oats but reduced to 1 cup. Kind of hard to find good fresh ones in my area at this time.

The muffins look gorgeous, though when tried hot (sorry, I was hungry), the quinoa made it taste a bit grassy. Are you using the recipe builder? I cut the sugar down to 1/4 cup and it made each muffin 3 points. I did make them with paper liners at first, but I’ve since realized that these healthy blueberry muffins really work best without liners.
